Our Expectations
We expect all suppliers and creditors to align with our ethical standards:
- Compliance with Anti-Slavery Laws: Adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct, which prohibits forced labour, child labour, worker-paid recruitment fees, and document retention, and ensures freedom of movement, association, and access to grievance mechanisms.
- Data Protection: Provide accurate business and payment details, treated as ‘Personal Data’ under the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. We cross-check information to prevent duplication or fraud.
- Transparency: Maintain clear records of labour practices and supply chain due diligence, particularly for high-risk sectors like food, beverages, or logistics.
- Diverse Supplier Support: We encourage businesses owned or led by underrepresented groups to join, supporting our inclusivity goals.
Suppliers failing to meet these standards may be excluded from our platform.
Anti-Slavery Commitment
Costrick Ltd is committed to combating modern slavery, as detailed in our Modern Slavery Statement. We conduct risk-based audits of suppliers, focusing on high-risk areas like international sourcing or logistics, and require evidence of ethical practices. Our anonymous whistleblowing channel (www.costrick.com/speak-up) allows workers and stakeholders to report concerns, ensuring access to remedy. In 2025, we identified and remediated one instance of excessive overtime in our supply chain, reinforcing our zero-tolerance policy.
